Slow Food Baton Rouge
Slow Food Baton Rouge (SFBR) is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the promotion and development of a secure, just, and sustainable local food system. Slow Food Baton Rouge seeks to facilitate greater understanding about the environmental, economic, nutritional, cultural, and social impacts of food choices, and promoting local culinary arts and food traditions. In addition, we seek to support increased food access as well as the production, consumption and purchase of locally grown food to benefit consumers and the farming community while strengthening the local economy. Slow Food Baton Rouge is the local chapter of Slow Food USA (slowfoodusa.org). For more information on SFBR activities, visit our website slowfoodbr.org or follow us on Facebook.
